Growing up some of my fondest memories revolve around the kitchen, grocery shopping with my Mom, and family dinners. After living in Tokyo, Japan for the majority of 2018, I was ready to start my own business in the food industry and was heavily inspired by Japanese culture. Prior to becoming plant-based, Sushi was a staple in my diet, so I wanted to create an alternative that I could eat and really enjoy as a vegan. For the last year Plantae Bar has been operating out of Smorgasburg on Sundays and has expanded to catering and private events as well. I'm so grateful for all my customers who have supported me and tried my food for the past two years. It's been such a blessing to be able to feed so many people and create something I'm so passionate about. I look forward to the future of Plantae Bar and can't wait to continue to serve my community.
